Salt City Remodeling

Salt City Remodeling operates from Marcellus, a small town in upstate New York where owner-occupied homes are common and a growing share of residents are over 65. The company specializes in bathroom remodeling work, which is often the logical starting point for aging-in-place modifications since bathrooms present some of the highest fall risks in any home.

According to their public listings, Salt City Remodeling handles the core bathroom safety upgrades that make a real difference: grab bar installation, non-slip flooring, walk-in shower conversions, walk-in tub installation, countertop lowering, and ADA-compliant toilet installation. These are straightforward, practical interventions that improve accessibility without requiring a complete home overhaul. The company's service address in Marcellus suggests they are likely available to homeowners across the Syracuse area and surrounding communities.

At this early stage, the company has just one public review on record, which carries a 5.0 rating. While this is a positive signal, a single review is a small sample and doesn't yet establish a track record. Anyone considering Salt City Remodeling would be wise to ask directly about their experience with aging-in-place projects, how long they've been doing bathroom modifications, and whether they have references from other families who've completed similar work.

The company's focus on bathroom remodeling as a specialty is well-suited to the aging-in-place conversation. Rather than trying to do everything, a contractor who knows bathrooms inside and out often delivers more reliable work in this critical space.

If you're looking to add grab bars, convert a shower, or make other bathroom safety improvements in the Marcellus or Syracuse area, Salt City Remodeling is worth a call at 315-741-5786 to discuss your specific project.
